Getting There

Transportation

Safe, reliable transport that gives homeschool families valuable time back while children enjoy meaningful learning experiences across South East Queensland and Northern NSW.

As homeschooling parents ourselves, we understand firsthand just how much time and energy goes into creating meaningful learning opportunities for our children. After spending years driving from one end of the Gold Coast to the other, commuting between different activities, programs and learning experiences, we realised just how much of our time can be spent in the car.

Between homeschooling, family life, work commitments and everything else that needs to be managed, the constant driving can become an added pressure for parents. This experience became an important part of the idea behind Explorers Collective.

Providing transportation isn’t simply about getting children from one place to another — it’s about making life easier for homeschool families. Explorers Collective will travel to a wide variety of activities, excursions and learning experiences across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales, with destinations potentially ranging from Brisbane and throughout the Gold Coast to locations across the border in Northern New South Wales.

These distances can mean hours of driving for parents, particularly when an activity is only one part of an already busy week. By taking care of the transportation, Explorers Collective gives parents that valuable time back. Rather than driving long distances, waiting for an activity to finish and then making the return trip home, you can drop your child off with us and get on with your work, family commitments, other children’s needs or simply everything else that needs your attention.

Central Gold Coast Meeting Point

For convenience, Explorers Collective meets at Firth Park (Mudgeeraba Skatepark), a central Gold Coast location that makes drop-off easy for families across the region.

  • Meeting time: 8:30 AM
  • Departure: 9:00 AM sharp

Arriving by 8:30 AM gives children time to check in, settle in with the group and be ready to leave right on schedule.

Your child’s safety is incredibly important to us. Explorers Collective has a new van with nine comfortable seats, providing safe and reliable transportation to the various activities, excursions and learning experiences included in the program. The vehicle is maintained to ensure it is safe and roadworthy, and we have also completed a safe driving course to further strengthen our knowledge and skills when transporting children.

From the moment your child is dropped off to the moment they are collected, their safety and wellbeing are a priority. You can have peace of mind knowing that careful consideration has been given to how your child is transported and cared for throughout their day with Explorers Collective.

Explorers Collective has been designed with both the child’s experience and the parent’s needs in mind — providing children with meaningful, real-world learning opportunities while taking some of the logistical pressure off their parents.
